West Coast Elite UAA Finishes Third
West Coast Elite Under Armour finished third out of 75 teams at the Under Armour Association. It is even more impressive as this was a team that was put together in early May due to the many challenges that were faced with covid. Director of West Coast Elite UAA, Jake Stanbrough said, “I am very proud of the guys. They worked hard all season, played together, made no excuses and it all came together in Indianapolis. We were a team that no one expected to make a deep run and by the time the weekend was over a lot of heads were turned. I was very impressed with the leadership from Donley Minor Jr. coaching the team throughout the season. Donley Minor Sr. did a fantastic job.”
West Coast Elite Under Armour has one of the top programs in the country. With the talent coming through the program pipeline they are poised to make another deep run next year. The rising Junior class is arguably one of the most talented that West Coast Elite has ever had in its program. Stanbrough said, “We are recruiting future Division I and NBA players, with high character that are ALL IN. Culture, culture, culture. This is a very exciting time to be a part of the West Coast Elite family. ”
Evaluations for next year's team are starting now. It is expected that the team will have many players trying out for the team next year. Tryouts for the team will be in the early Spring in 2022.
