Boys State Inducts Ryan Silver into Hall of Fame

Ryan Silver will be inducted into California Boys State Hall of Fame next Friday night at Sacramento State University.  Ryan Silver has served as a counselor at California Boys State for twenty four years since he was a delegate there in 1997.  Silver serves as a City Counselor and Party Counselor.  

 

Silver has helped thousands of young men through the California Boys State program.  He has seen numerous former delegates go on to become city councilmen and city, state, and national officials.  Former long time friend and California State senator Henry Stern will introduce Silver next Friday night.  

 

Silver has dedicated his life to giving back to kids and families.  After serving as the ASB president at Malibu High School, he went on to UCLA where he was a Political Science Major.  Silver graduated from UCLA and started Silver Lion Productions which grew into a massive entertainment and nightlife company working with clients such as Microsoft, Google, and Facebook.  

 

Coach Ryan Silver is also the creator of West Coast Elite Basketball which has helped kids and families achieve tens of millions of dollars in scholarship money. West Coast Elite Under Armour is widely regarded as one of the top AAU/grassroots programs in the country.  West Coast Elite Basketball is the #1 event operator on the West Coast in basketball space and one of top event operators in the country.  Coach Silver also won a CIF championship and was awarded coach of the year in 2011 at Sierra Canyon School.

 

Ryan Silver has also received numerous local and national awards for his tremendous service to Los Angeles and helping countless kids and families.  His brother Ross Silver, President of Sylva Cap Investment Banking, sister Starr Silver currently Vice-President of Netflix, Mom Kimberly Silver real estate tycoon, and Dad Arthur Silver former television producer and real estate tycoon are all expected to  be in attendance next Friday night.
